Dunning Ranch Guest Suites
Your private retreat in Paso Robles wine country
Dunning Ranch Guest Suites (DRGS) is owned and operated by Jim and Angela Dunning. The original Dunning owners were Jim’s Grandfather and Grandmother, John “Jack” Dunning and Ruth Dunning, who purchased the ranch house plus the surrounding acreage in 1960. Jack was a notable film editor for MGM and the ranch was used as the vacation home for his family. The Dunning children (John, Barbara, and Robert) remember it’s rustic charm with plenty of deer and turkeys roaming the property, which are still seen today. Over the years Jack and his children John, Barbara, and Robert have remodeled the ranch with the integrity to maintain the rustic aesthetics with modern amenities. The Dunning family decided to turn the ranch house into a bed and breakfast in 2002 to compliment the wine experience of co-located Dunning Vineyards (owned and operated by Robert and Jo-Ann Dunning). In 2007, Jim and Angela decided to purchase the ranch house, now DRGS, and continue to share this special family property with future guests.
Jim and Angela welcome their guests to relax and unwind at DRGS with a glass of wine to be enjoyed in a majestic setting with 100 year-old oak trees.
Cheers, Jim & Angela
